A wedding celebrant creates and conducts a ceremony that is personal to you. I’ll get to know your story, your personalities and what matters to you, then create and deliver a ceremony that feels genuine, relaxed and completely yours.
That’s completely up to you! Your ceremony can include your love story, personal vows, readings, music, family and friends, symbolic rituals, plenty of laughter and those special moments that mean something to you. I’ll guide you through everything, so you can simply relax and enjoy the moment.
A celebrant-led ceremony is usually a symbolic ceremony and, by itself, does not make you legally married. The legal marriage needs to be completed through the appropriate Spanish authorities or another legally recognised route. Many couples choose to complete the legal formalities separately and then have their beautiful, personalised ceremony with their celebrant.
There’s no fixed length. Most ceremonies are around 25-35 minutes, but your ceremony can be shorter or longer depending on what you’d like to include. The most important thing is that it feels natural and enjoyable, rather than rushed or drawn out.
That starts with getting to know you. I’ll spend time learning about your relationship, how you met, the things you love about each other and the memories you’ve shared. I then use your story, your words and your ideas to create a ceremony that could only belong to you.
Absolutely. Your vows are one of the most personal parts of the ceremony, and I’m very happy to help and guide you if you’re not sure where to start. Whether you want something heartfelt, funny, romantic or a little bit of everything, we’ll make sure they sound like you.
Of course. Having the people you love involved can make your ceremony incredibly special. We can include readings, poems, music, speeches, symbolic rituals or other meaningful roles for family and friends.
Yes. If you have family and friends who speak different languages, I can create a bilingual ceremony so everyone feels included and understands the important moments. We can discuss the best balance of languages to make the ceremony flow naturally.
I recommend getting in touch as soon as you have your wedding date and venue confirmed. Popular dates can book well in advance, but if your wedding is coming up sooner, please still get in touch — I may have your date available.
The first step is simply to get in touch. We can have a chat about your wedding plans, what you’re looking for and the ceremony you have in mind. If we feel we’re a good match, you can secure your date with a booking retainer, and then we can start creating your ceremony together.
I'd love to hear about your plans and help you create a ceremony that's personal, relaxed and truly yours.
